1. Who we are

VoiceForge is operated by Ledgyn's Inc. LLcbased in the United States. Ledgyn's Inc. LLc is the data controller responsible for the personal information described in this Notice. You can reach us through the in-app support channel.

2. Information we collect

  • Account information — name, email, password hash, display name.
  • Voice and content inputs — audio you record, text prompts, sketches, uploads, and any other material you submit to generate inventions.
  • Generated outputs — renders, specs, parts lists, and firmware code produced from your inputs.
  • Usage telemetry — feature usage, errors, performance metrics, approximate location derived from IP, device and browser identifiers.
  • Support messages — anything you send us when you ask for help.
  • Billing identifiers — a Paddle customer ID and subscription status. Card numbers and full billing details are collected and stored by Paddle, not by us.

3. How we use it

  • To create and operate your account (legal basis: contract).
  • To generate the renders, specs, and code you ask for, including sending inputs to AI processing providers (legal basis: contract).
  • To prevent fraud, abuse, and security incidents (legal basis: legitimate interests).
  • To improve the Service, debug issues, and measure performance (legal basis: legitimate interests).
  • To respond to support requests (legal basis: contract / legitimate interests).
  • To comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms (legal basis: legal obligation / legitimate interests).

4. Who we share it with

  • Paddle — our Merchant of Record. Paddle handles checkout, payments, tax, invoicing, subscription management, and refunds. See the Paddle Privacy Notice.
  • AI processing providers — large language model and image generation providers we use to produce Outputs from your Inputs. Inputs are sent to them only to generate the response you requested.
  • Hosting and infrastructure providers — for storage, database, authentication, and serving the Service.
  • Professional advisers — accounting and legal advisers, where necessary.
  • Authorities — where required by law, court order, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of users or the public.

We do not sell your personal information.

5. Retention

We keep account information for as long as your account is active. We keep generated inventions and history so you can return to them. When you delete your account, we delete or anonymize associated personal data within a reasonable period, except where we must retain it to comply with legal, tax, or accounting obligations, or to resolve disputes.

6. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, export, or restrict processing of your personal information, and to object to certain processing or withdraw consent. To exercise these rights, contact us through the in-app support channel. If you are in the UK or EEA, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection supervisory authority. We aim to respond within one month.

7. International transfers

We are based in the United States, and our hosting and AI processing providers may also be located in the United States or other countries. Where personal data is transferred out of the UK or EEA, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses or equivalent mechanisms.

8. Security

We use appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect personal data, including encryption in transit, access controls, and least-privilege practices. No system is perfectly secure; please use a strong, unique password and notify us of any suspected unauthorized access.

9. Cookies

We use a small number of essential cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in and to remember your preferences. We may use limited analytics to understand how the Service is used. You can manage cookies through your browser settings; disabling essential cookies may prevent the Service from working.

10. Changes

We may update this Notice from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the Service.
